Season 2 Episode 50: C Note
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. It is our 100th episode!!! We start the episode with a big Destiny conversation. Our next segment is our new Broken Controller Awards, where we make jokes and puns at the expense of others. We wrap up the episode with a very special ending, we brought back our ever popular Triple Barrel Shotgun Round. The reason this is so special, is because Heath and Madison are leaving the podcast as regular hosts, so we ask the question; What are your favorite moments from the last 100 episodes? Let us know in the comments below or on our Facebook page. With Heath and Madison leaving, the show will be shifting formats to a more current events podcast, so if you have any recommendations, or criticisms, please email us, or let us know somehow.

Welcome back to the First World Podcast. Our last episode before episode 100, please send us your questions and comments soon. This week, we thought it would be fun to talk about mature games. Heath beat the Dark Souls 2 Crown of the Old Iron King dlc, and started playing the indie darling, Fez. Greg went back to his back catalog of games and dug into DMC, and Battlefield 4. Season 2 Episode 34 - Sexual Healing
The First World Crew is blasting off again! This week, Heath is on vacation, so Dan, Greg, and Madison have a spirited conversation about a pretty important, and controversial topic: Sexuality and especially homosexuality in video games. But first, in Now Playing, Dan returns with tales of Agarest, Generations of War. Madison kicks some Killer Instinct ass and continues adventuring in Kalos with Pokemon Y. And Greg plays the ultra cool, Transistor, from the studio that brought us Bastion. It's got a talking sword, so that's cool.
Finally we have a triple barrel shotgun round all about books! LeVar Burton would be proud!

Season 2 Episode 33: Generational Maladies
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. This week we are sans Dan, so we thought we would talk about the reasons we haven't picked up the new generation of systems. Greg had a hell of a time trying to find a copy of Final Fantasy X/X2 Remastered, but he succeeded. Madison had played a handful of games this week, but picked up the PS+ game Skullgirls. Heath binged games this week, and beat Child of Light, and Thomas Was Alone.

Season 2 Episode 32 - Ultimate Collection HD Turbo Edition Alpha
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. The entire crew is back for an exciting conversations on remakes including the freshly announced Pokemon Gen 3 remake (Hoenn confirmed!). After spending the week fighting crime in South City, Dan played a ton of games on steam including Wizorb and Dragon Age Origin. Greg spent more time on his new Tablet, and downloaded X-Com: Enemy Unknown. Madison, even though her week was super busy, managed to spend some time with R-Type Final. Heath got way more intimate with LSDJ and started writing the new theme song for the Technical Earth Syndicate's new podcast.

Season 2 Episode 31: Free To Pay
Welcome back to another exciting episode of the First World Podcast. In keeping with the theme of having a member of the podcast be absent, this week Dan was off dishing out his own brand of vigilante justice on unsuspecting criminals. Since Greg has been gone, something had been on his mind, so this weeks topic is Free-To-Play games. In an odd turn of events, all members of the podcast played the same game, so everyone's Now Playing segment is Ubisoft's Child of Light. Dan did leave one message though before he went out to fight crime, and that was to watch Attack on Titan, because it is super good.

Season 2 Episode 30: War Buddies
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. Since real life has been so hectic and crazy lately, we ended up doing a short(er) episode at the new Studio 1-C. We have been sentimental since we haven't had our buddy Greg around for the past few episodes, so we decided to talk about the social component of gaming and how it is now a culture, and not just something that you do to pass time. Heath beat South Park: The Stick of Truth, and really enjoyed his time there. Madison played some more Nestalgia, but got her brain busted in Braid. Dan, like every good addict fell back into his Pokemon k-hole, and in this episode he explains how to get Shiny Pokemon. We wrap up the episode with a quick recommendation round about what games are super fun with people around.

Season 2 Episode 29: Live @ the Livery
Welcome back to a very crazy episode of the First World Podcast. Because we had been pushing the chiptune show on Saturday night at the Livery, we decided to record the whole episode there. The show is live, and we aren't really set up to record live music easily, so the show is a tad noisier than our normally sonic-smooth selves. We had a quick Now Playing segment, where Heath talks about South Park Stick of Truth, Mads talks about Nestalgia, and Dan talks about the Wonderful 101. We grab a quick interview with Josh and Mike from Dream Fox, and the First World Podcast's very own Heath Aldrich to talk some chiptune stuff.

Season 2 episode 28: Birthday Suit
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. IT IS DAN'S BIRTHDAY!!! So, we are going to talk Nintendo. Greg hurt his back, so we brought in a secret weapon, Dan's friend Derek Carson. Madison surprised us by playing Skyrim, and she didn't like it very much, but she did like Mickey Mouse and the Castle of Illusion. Derek was in a co-op mood, so he picked up Rayman Origins and liked it. Heath beat Dark Souls 2, and then started South Park and the Stick of Truth. Dan found his mouse clicking muse with the Diabloesque Torchlight II. We wrap up the episode with a new segment called Lesson Learned, where we talk about what life lessons we have taken from some of our favorite games.

Season 2 Episode 27: Con-Troll Issues
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. This week we talked about communication between developers and the fans. Heath continued his descent into Dark Souls 2, and then took a break from that to play Mercenary Kings on the PS4. Dan dusted off his Vita and played Thomas Was Alone. Greg finally made it through the expansion of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Madison dug in deeper into Saints Row 4, and spent all Saturday at St Louis Wizard World Comic Con. We wrap up the episode with a triumphant return of the Triple Barrel Shotgun Round!!! This week we ask the question; What moble or portable game you like to see as a full blown game? Let us know in the comments below, or on our Facebook.

Season 2 Episode 26: Crowded House
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. This week, with the recent sale of Oculus Rift to Facebook, we figured that it would be a good time to talk about crowdfunding. Here is a list of successfully funded Kickstarters that have been failures, or didn't come out. Heath and Dan talk about the online play on Dark Souls 2. Greg beat Diablo 3 again, only this time, he beat it by himself, and get this, he did it on hard mode. Madison started Saints Row 4, and played the Conception 2 demo.

Season 2 Episode 24: Crossing Over
Welcome back to the First World Podcast, DAN IS BACK!!! This week we reminisce about our favorite video game crossovers. Dan picked up a copy of Project X Zone for the 3DS, and was pleasantly surprised. Madison picked up her old copy of Odin Sphere for the PS2, and is compelled to finally beat it. Greg stepped away from his Mechwarrior empire and dug into another free-2-play mech game Hawken. Heath has given up his humanity and lost his soul for Dark Souls 2. We wrap up the episode with our new segment What If... This week we speculate what if the Sega Dreamcast hadn't failed. Let us know what you think in the comment below or on our Facebook.

Season 2 Episode 23: FWP FPS FTW
Welcome back to the First World Podcast. This week, with the absence of Dan, who left us for the beaches of the Caribbean, we invited our good friend Mike "The Buff" Buffington to talk about first person shooters. Mike went on over to the small mountain town of South Park and was searching for the Stick of Truth. Heath picked up Need For Speed: Rivals for the PS4 with underwhelming results. Greg took a tiny break from Mechwarrior to play the new expansion for Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall. Madison did her homework for the feature topic and played Cryisis 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. We wrap up the show with a brand new segment called "What If.." where we let our imagination run wild.

Season 2 Episode 21 - Game Over Man
Welcome to the wasteland with the First World Podcast. This week we wanted to have a conversation about post apocalyptic gaming with a special guest Carter Spade. Carter works for EA games on the Simcity team, and is really into post apocalyptic gaming, in the video or live form. Check out Carters photography site at http://spadephoto.com/ . Heath sunk his teeth into a new arcade shooter for the Vita called TxK. Greg and Madison both spent some time in Capcom's Remember Me. Dan immersed himself into the bleak world of Metro Last Light, and it inspired him to start reading the book. We wrap up the episode with our life saving Triple Barrel Shotgun Round. This weeks question is; What three things would you take with you into the Wasteland? Let us know in the comments below or on our Facebook.

Season 2 Episode 20: Sugoi!
Konbanwa, this is the First World Podcast. This week, we look at the rise and decline of Japan in the gaming world, and have a hearty debate on it's future in the world of video games. Heath kept digging into his PS4 and played Killzone: Shadow Fall and Outlast. Madison, after getting blasted on Valentines Day, played though most of Saints Row the 3rd. Greg is still playing a ton of Mechwarrior Online, so he decided to fill us in on some other free-to-play mech games. Dan got a new Windows phone, and also played the joyously insane Inazuma Eleven, a Soccer RPG for the 3DS. Because the main topic was sooooooo good, and went on a little long, we decided to not do a third segment. Let us know what you would like us to end with next week.

Greg is still so dug into Mechwarrior Online, and he is really enjoying the new interface 2.0. Madison has returned to wonderful world of Disgaea D2, and jumped into Metro: Last Light. Heath needed to make room on his Vita, so he played Uncharted: Golden Abyss, it was alright. We wrap up the episode with our love lorn segment, Triple Barrel Shotgun Round.
